General Introduction

Apron feeder / Apron conveyors is a type of mechanical material handling equipment used in bulk material handling systems. It consists of a series of horizontally mounted overlapping metal plates or pans that are typically connected to heavy-duty chains or cables. The pans move along the feed bed and carry materials such as ore, coal, rock, and aggregates from a hopper or bin to a processing or transport system. Apron feeders are used in mining, quarrying, and industrial operations, where a large quantity of heavy or abrasive materials needs to be moved. They are particularly effective for feeding and controlling the flow of bulky, wet, or sticky materials, which can cause blockages and other disruptions in other types of feeders. Crusher feeding
One machine covers full range of materials (cement, iron ore, sand, coal, limestone, fertilizers and so on.) Unloading of material of any size range, size up to 1,500 mm. Suitable for a wide variety of abrasive materials. Each unit is tailor-made to suit crusher.

Medium-duty apron feeder: It is a uniform intermittent feeding equipment, and it is an apron feeder for larger pieces and medium-density materials.

Heavy-duty apron feeder: It is suitable for continuous and uniform feeding from storage bins to crushers, conveyors, etc., and short-distance conveyance of materials with high density and large lumps.

 

FEATURES

1. Standard heavy-duty ribbed pans prevent excessive deflection under high-impact loading & severely abrasive working conditions.
2. Cast segmental track chain bolted to heavy steel hubs keyed to oversized front drive shaft.
3. Standard crawler-type under carriage parts have a long service life.
4. Rugged steel support frame with impact rails to limit pans deflection, thus eliminating permanent bending of the pans.
